Lodging Maintenance Technician Level II - Year Round

Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company matchPURPOSE OF POSITION:T he Maintenance Technician Level IIis responsible forperformingroutine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and do ingrepairs withinlodging properties andcommon areas .RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and various texturingworkPerform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care in the winter and landscaping tasks in summerTroubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three phase electrical panels and circuitsPaint interiors and exteriorsof buildingsRemove/install faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushersTroubleshoot and repair drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of waterWoodworking on cabinetry, counters, stairs, and doorsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills and be able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC,woodwork,drywall, and various texturingCPO certified inmaintainingbalanced pools and hot tub chemicalsAbleto work on ladders and scaffoldings, use power tools and equipment, andoperatecompany vehicles in a variety of weather conditionsAble towork with various chemicals, including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting productsFamiliarity with OSHA PPE protocols preferredMust be able to perform heavy liftingandstrenuous work such as snow removalAble to worknight shifts, weekends, and holidaysBasic hand toolsrequired ; specialty tools providedAble to w ork indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsMust have valid driver’s licenseDATES OF EMPLOYMENT:FlexYear Round- may have periods of layoff or reduced hoursPAY RATE:$2 4 .00 per hourDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
