Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and provide primary and comprehensive healthcare services under the supervision of a physician
- Perform health coaching and education to promote wellness and disease prevention
- Coordinate and facilitate discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home or other care settings
- Order and interpret medical imaging and lab tests as necessary
Experience:
- No minimum experience required Preferred [1] year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a medical office or similar healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills and ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and providing health education
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and coordination of care across different healthcare settings
- Experience ordering and interpreting medical imaging tests
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Master's degree in nursing
- Current state licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse
- In depth knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
