Clean molds and complete mold changeovers to meet schedule requirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFollow & update IQMS RT Scheduler mold requirements, as determined by the plannerGreen-tag readied molds; move to staging area in molding departmentDisassemble & clean molds; inspect for problems.Install changeover parts, as requiredTake measurements to determine wear & proper sizes of pins, bushings, and hold dimensionsKeep records up to date, including mold tagging system.Other duties as assignedPractice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environmentUse power hand tool as necessaryUse Ice Blaster as requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 years of experience working with industrial machinery and/or automotive in a mechanical aspectExperience working with injection molds, preferredExperience with forklift and pallet jack operation, preferredSKILLS & ABILITIESMath and reading comprehensionAbility to read and understand work instructionsAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMechanical aptitudeAbility to read and understand micrometers and calibers, preferredWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSManufacturing environment.
