Luxury Dealership DMV Clerk and Executive Assistant

Clients of our vehicle subscription program can return the vehicles at any time! We also have a pre-owned sales department which we use to assist in moving highline off lease vehicles as well as some rare exotics. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a motivated individual to assist and provide support to our Clifton, NJ luxury automobile dealership. Primary responsibilities are typically associated with a DMV title clerk as well as bookkeeping which include the following daily tasks: 1. DMV Compliance: Handle customer vehicle registrations for vehicle sales, leasing and flipping company titles. Stay updated on DMV regulations and procedures related to vehicle registrations, titles, and other documentation. Process and submit necessary paperwork to the DMV for vehicle registrations, renewals, and transfers. Ensure timely compliance with all DMV requirements to avoid disruptions in service. 2. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to vehicle subscriptions. Reconcile financial transactions and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities. File various reports with state and local government agencies as well as banks and lenders. Generate reports on financial performance and provide insights to management. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and customer service, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. Collaborate with external partners, such as DMV offices and financial institutions, to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: MINIMUM one year of dealership experience in processing DMV work Knowledge of DMV and vehicle registrations in NJ/NY/CT/PA is desired Solid bookkeeping skills and experience in maintaining financial records is a must Excellent communication skills in both verbal as well as written Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft office including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. Deeply committed to quality in everything he/she does Someone who follows through and never allows the ball to drop Familiarity with automotive subscription services or the luxury vehicle industry is a plus.
