As the Director of Sales, you will be overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales, participating in brainstorming sessions to increase productivity and sales, and developing new sales strategies and opportunities for the team. You will also be responsible for performance reviews and conducting disciplinary actions as needed, hiring and training new staff members, and presenting sales reports to upper management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in both management and sales, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills.Responsibilities Monitor the day-to-day activities of the sales teamProvide guidance and help with difficult sales situationsParticipate in brainstorming sessions to generate new leads, sales initiatives, and sales opportunitiesConduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as neededInterview, hire, and train new staff membersWork closely with multiple departments and maintain strong relationships and lines of communicationQualifications Extensive sales and management experience desired for Hotel IndustryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to multitask and shift priorities as neededDemonstrated ability to lead a team to successExperience using basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge to use Sales applications of Hotel Brand like IHG is added advantage
