At Disney, you’ll help inspire that magic by enabling our teams to push the limits of entertainment and create the never-before-seen!As a Laborer working in the Attraction Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance & Mechanical & Overhaul Teams (AM-MO), you will be in charge of carrying out scheduled repairs, supporting other crafts, and making sure that the attractions and other backstage spaces are tidy and prepared for use. Upkeep of railroad track, ties, switches, and gravel ballast, as well as cleaning and upkeep of attractions, rivers, and other designated locations, may be additional duties.ResponsibilitiesMaterial handling: Move soil, equipment, and material to assist all tradesLift, carry, and wheel heavy materialLoad and unload material from transport vehicles using hand trucks, dollies, and other support devicesMove furniture, lumber, fence railing, and other materialsOpens drums, boxes, and other containersMove soil gravel, equipment, etcMove parts & materials between shops/buildingsTag parts; update logs; annotate manifestsPark Maintenance And CleaningSweep and clean streets, paths, tracks, waterways, and walkwaysDig holes and trenches for tradesSweep, mop, and vacuum shops and other assigned areasAttraction ResponsibilityClean all waterways and dispose of dirtClean flume, animation, and pond areasClean track and ride path areasHelp other trades with their work when/if neededPerform weekly, monthly, and annual planned maintenanceReplace railroad track componentsMaintain railroad track profileGeneralOperate forkliftUse Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) to receive work instruction and document timeBasic QualificationsYou must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered for this roleMust have the experience and abilities to perform the duties listed under "Responsibilities" aboveSchedule AvailabilityMust be open to any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, with any combination of days offAdditional InformationSUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATIONAfter clicking “Apply Now” below, the employment application will open in a new window.
