Job DetailsTitle: Infrastructure Engineer with ACTIVE TS/SCI with CI PolyRate Range: $83/hr - $103/hr (W2)Location: Onsite in Richardson, TX (no relocation package)Duration: 12+ monthsClearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI PolygraphRole requires TS/SCI on day 1 and ability to obtain CI Poly after start.No C2C, no outside agencies/vendors, no 1099. U.S. citizenship required.ResponsibilitiesServe as Sr. Platform Engineer for the team, creating capability and feature designs, and ensuring alignment with program objectives and delivery commitments.Work with the Scrum Master to execute Agile development, delivering high-quality cloud-enabled capabilities on schedule.Support delivery and sell off of completed work to customers, ensuring technical acceptance and stakeholder satisfaction.Support and maintain a technical roadmap that keeps the platform aligned with modern DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and relevant COTS solutions.Evaluate emerging technologies, cloud services, and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities, security posture, and team effectiveness.Required SkillsActive and transferable U.S. government-issued DOD TS/SCI with CI Poly prior to start date.U.S. citizenship required.Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, etc.) and 5 years related work experience.Effective communication skills to interpret complex technical concepts for engineers.Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining RedHat Linux operating systems.Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably with AWS.Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and toolchains (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Helm).DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent).Preferred SkillsStrong working knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies in enterprise or mission environments.Advanced troubleshooting experience for performance, reliability, and availability across Linux-based platforms and infrastructure services.Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and operational workflows.Experience designing and delivering solutions within a DevOps framework, including security integration throughout the software lifecycle.Strong AWS experience, including architecture, deployment, and security of services such as EC2, EKS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC, with emphasis on scalability and cost optimization.Container and platform engineering experience using Kubernetes and container runtimes such as Docker or Podman.Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and toolchains to support application teams.Experience integrating and supporting COTS and FOSS products in secured or regulated environments.Education RequiredBachelor's degree required.GeoLogics is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer that is committed to hiring a diverse and talented workforce.
