For over 20 years LER has been working with customers across North America to meet their engineering resource challenges.What you will be doing:The Exterior Systems Engineer (Lighting, Vision, Trim/Fascia) Leads design and development of exterior systems including lighting, glazing, wipers, mirrors, fascia, bumpers, and trim. Owns full lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring performance, quality, cost, and timing targets.What you'll need to be successful (must haves):Lead development of exterior systems (lighting, vision, trim, fascia, bumpers)Define system requirements, specifications, and standardsManage RFQs, supplier selection, and technical reviewsDirect development of CATIA CAD models , packaging, and system integrationSupport validation (DVP&R, DFMEA, testing) and ensure regulatory complianceCollaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and suppliersDrive issue resolution, prototype builds, and production launchEssentials:Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fieldExperience in automotive exterior systems developmentProficiency in CATIA CAD (V5/V6) and PLM (Teamcenter preferred)Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM, and high-volume manufacturingExperience with product launch and supplier managementWhat you'll get:Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA401K with a match and immediate vestingShort-term & Long-term disability, life insurance and other optional benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee DiscountsOngoing professional development opportunities including Technical Training and Leadership DevelopmentThe opportunity to work on industry leading projects#LI-RK1
