AEM Product Owner
Position Information Type: ContractPosition: AEM Product OwnerLocation: Alameda, CA (Onsite) Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of digital experience platforms. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, UX, and technical teams, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and customer‑centric solutions built on AEM.Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst in Agile environments.Hands‑on exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service).Strong understanding of:AEM Sites, Assets (DAM), WorkflowsContent authoring and publishing modelsPersonalization and digital experience conceptsProven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for CMS‑driven platforms.Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience working with distributed onshore/offshore teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for AEM‑based digital platforms.Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, marketing teams, UX, and AEM engineering teams.Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications aligned with AEM capabilities.Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.Collaborate closely with AEM architects and developers on:Components, templates, workflowsContent authoring, DAM, and personalization use casesEnsure alignment with AEM best practices, scalability, security, and performance standards.Support UAT planning and execution, validating delivered features against acceptance criteria.Coordinate releases and work with stakeholders to ensure smooth go‑live and post‑release support.Track and report on product KPIs, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
