We support our electricians with proper staffing, clear processes, and leadership that understands the trade, so you can focus on quality work and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems and safety issuesPerform code-compliant repairs and upgrades, including panels, wiring, devices, lighting, EV chargers, generators, and moreConduct full system evaluations and clearly explain findings to homeownersPresent options and upfront pricing so customers can make informed decisionsUse a tablet/service app to document work, create options, and close out jobsRequirements3 or more years of residential service electrical experience preferredStrong troubleshooting skills and pride in quality workmanshipProfessional communication and customer-focused mindsetValid driver's license and clean driving recordComfortable using mobile devices and service softwareJourneyman license preferred, not requiredPay and BenefitsFull-time, W-2 employment.Pay: $24 to $40 per hour + commission (based on experience/performance)Steady, year-round work with a company that's been in business for 30 yearsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with 3% company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysWork EnvironmentField-based role working in occupied residential homesWork performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in attics, crawl spaces, and basementsRegular use of ladders, hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and service vehiclesPhysical demands include lifting and carrying materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs; more with assistance)Use of a tablet or mobile device for job documentation and communicationAdherence to all safety protocols, electrical codes, and company standardsProfessional appearance and conduct are required at all timesGT Electric is an equal opportunity employer.
