Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in La Mesa, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in La Mesa and Chula Vista, CA, serving school settings with a contract extending from late April through the end of the current school year. This position offers the chance to provide specialized speech and language services to pediatric students in an educational environment, with the possibility of returning for the 2026-2027 school year.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to students.Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.Deliver services using teletherapy as well as in-person sessions based on student needs.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school policies.Qualifications and Experience:Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and eligible for school-based SLP roles.Experience specializing in pediatrics and healthcare speech-language pathology.Skilled in teletherapy delivery methods.Familiarity with school systems and educational speech-language pathology best practices.Location:Positions are based primarily in La Mesa, CA, with opportunities in Chula Vista, CA.Benefits:Contract position with competitive hourly wage ranging between $49 and $63.Opportunity to work full-time at one school site.Potential to extend contract into the next academic year.
