System Architect – Enterprise Cross Domain Systems (ECDS)Position OverviewWe are seeking a System Architect to support Enterprise Cross Domain Systems (ECDS) and related initiatives. These systems enable reliable and secure data transfers between multiple security domains for both general users and mission programs.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing complex, scalable system architectures, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate operational and business requirements into robust, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine system architecture: Lead the design, development, and documentation of system architectures for new systems, features, and servicesConduct feasibility and risk assessments: Evaluate technical feasibility, architectural tradeoffs, and implementation risks for proposed designsDevelop technical roadmaps: Define and maintain long-term architecture and modernization roadmapsEnsure scalability and performance: Design systems capable of supporting high data throughput, availability, and performance requirementsCollaborate with engineering teams: Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the system development lifecycleEvaluate emerging technologies: Research new technologies and assess their applicability to enterprise and cross-domain environmentsEnsure security and reliability: Architect solutions that meet security, availability, and resiliency requirements across multiple domainsCommunicate effectively: Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired Qualifications4–6 years of relevant systems or architecture experienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)DoD 8140 / DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificationActive TS/SCI security clearanceAbility to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph within six (6) months of start dateU.S. citizenship requiredAbout SITECSITEC is an employee- and customer-focused Information Technology and Professional Services firm specializing in the design, development, and delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions.
