Master Cook

**Location: Bloomington, IL Epiphany Farms Hospitality Group (EFHG) is looking for a passionate culinarian who is quick to adapt, fun, and understands Epiphany Farm's mission in changing the world one plate at a time. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment Adhere to all health and safety regulations Read, measure, and execute recipes properly Ensure a high level of product quality and take action to correct irregularities Follow the menu description, recipes, and prep method that is set Assist team members, as needed, in execution of service Be aware of food allergies and accommodate any modifications to the order Effectively communicate with management, kitchen, and service staff in order to address any issues or fulfill any requests by guests or other employees Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and department Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas Complete duties such as setting up workstations with required "mise en place" (tools, equipment, and supplies) and inspect their cleanliness and working condition, and establish priority items for the day **The pay range will be determined based on the experience level and capability to work at all EFHG kitchen lines, and willingness to rotate locations based on the company needs. Requirements Must have at least 3 years of previous experience in full-service restaurant kitchen Need to be able to work grill, sauté, and fry stations Understanding of meat and fish butchering preferred Demonstrates a solid knowledge of food products and is able to skillfully apply culinary and cooking techniques Interest in and passion for creating a vertically integrated food system Readiness to learn and continue improving skills Versatility and a willingness to think on one's feet Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation procedures Professional appearance and demeanor Work varied shifts, including weekend and holidays A sense of urgency, positive attitude, and team player mindset Physical Requirements Able to walk/stand the entire shift Lift up to 50 lbs. Can handle working in a hot environment Execute repetitive motion Able to reach, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
