Freudenberg Job OpportunityWorking at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:Asset ReliabilityAnalyze downtime trends for presses and vulcanization linesImprove MTBF and reduce repeat failuresDevelop reliability-centered maintenance strategiesStandardize press rebuild and overhaul practicesProcess Parameter ControlMonitor and control key vulcanization parameters (temperature, pressure, cure time, Vacuum)Validate press control logic for parameter stabilityIdentify process drift and variation trendsPartner with Automation Engineer to improve control loop performanceEnsure parameter alignment with Control PlanProduction SupportProvide real-time troubleshooting during production issuesSupport startup and validation after downtime eventsReduce unplanned production interruptionsImprove cycle consistencyScrap & Quality ReductionAnalyze scrap trends related to cure parametersLead root cause investigations (8D / 5 Why/Cause Map)Develop corrective actions to eliminate repeat scrapPartner with Quality and Production to stabilize processesPredictive & Condition MonitoringUse thermal imaging, pressure validation, and condition monitoring toolsIdentify early failure indicators in heating systems and hydraulicsDevelop predictive maintenance roadmap for pressesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university in appropriate technical field.Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient computer skills.Good problem solving skills.Ability to work in a team setting.Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
