Occupational Therapist - Part-Time School-Based Position - Livonia, MI (2025/2026 School Year)A school district in Livonia, MI is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide services for the 2025/2026 school year. This part-time contract role offers approximately 8 hours per week, primarily supporting middle school caseloads with schedules to be determined. The position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 13, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Assess and provide occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of middle school students.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school guidelines.Participate in team meetings and support the development of student-centered goals.Provide consultation and support to staff regarding adaptations and accommodations to enhance student participation.Desired Qualifications:Current Occupational Therapy licensure with eligibility to work in Michigan.School-based occupational therapy experience preferred.Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions in educational settings.Ability to work independently with excellent communication and organizational skills.Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and promoting inclusive environments.Location: Livonia, MISchedule: Part-time, average 8 hours/week, one day per week (day TBD)Contract Length: Immediate start through June 13, 2026This role offers the opportunity to contribute positively to student development in a school environment with flexibility and a manageable workload.Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their current blinded resumes for consideration.
