Please do not submit documents that include dates of birth, social security numbers, or that require password access.Cedarville University invites applications for a MaleResident Director, who provides supervision of his particular residence hall, which includes: planning and programming; supervising Resident Assistants; administration of University regulations; and residence hall upkeep. Qualified individuals will also provide leadership by serving as a role model for students. This is a full time, staff (1560 annual hours) position, which is designated as emergency essential. Breaks are summer (Mid May -end of June) and winter break, usually Mid December though the first week of January.Essential Functions:Hires and provides direct oversight for Resident Assistants.Plans and implements programs for his/her residence hall.Supervises the general maintenance of the residence hall.Administrates the regulations in the student handbook.Assists with student room assignment and processing the students moving in and checking out.Oversees residence hall budget.Maintains accurate records such as: discipline, Spiritual Formation Reports, Room Condition Contracts, room checks, and sign in/sign out records.Cultivates relationships with students, including the RAs.Performs other duties as assigned by the Student Development Dean/Director.Qualifications:Must provide a positive example of a mature and growing relationship with Christ.Must be passionate about working with college students and willing to adjust to changing needs of each new generation of students.Bachelor's degree (master's preferred).Must have strong organizational and communication skills.Required Mental/Physical Abilities:Ability able to hear and speak clearly.Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.Capable of visiting any residence hall room on campus without physical assistance.We Offer an Exceptional Employee Experience:A commitment to Scripture that informs everything we do -transforming lives through excellent education and equipping students to stand for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ.
