Sometimes it’s about value and sometimes it’s about fashion, in all cases, we’re here to ensure the end user is completely satisfied with their purchase.The Product Development/Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the creation and execution of intimate apparel and sleepwear from concept to completion. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, production, and marketing, to ensure that the products meet brand standards, are produced efficiently, and reach the market on time.*Should have experience managing at least 1 person prior*Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with designers, merchandising teams, and other stakeholders to develop product concepts that align with the brand vision and target market.Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development strategies.Develop product roadmaps and timelines for various collections, ensuring clear goals and milestones are met.Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from initial sketches or prototypes to final production.Work closely with design teams to refine product details, ensuring quality, fit, and functionality meet brand standards.Oversee the sourcing of materials, fabrics, trims, and components, working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, including measurements, materials, colors, and finishes.Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and are manufactured according to specifications.Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to troubleshoot production issues, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.Conduct sample fittings and oversee production quality checks to maintain product consistency and quality.Create and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring timely execution from design concept to product launch.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, marketing, sourcing, logistics) to streamline processes and ensure smooth project flow.Monitor and adjust project timelines and budgets as necessary to stay on track with product development goals.Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to negotiate costs, terms, and delivery timelines.Ensure that suppliers meet sustainability and ethical standards in line with the company’s values and goals.Manage product development budgets, tracking costs for materials, samples, and production to ensure that products are developed within financial targets.Work with the finance and sourcing teams to ensure that product costs are optimized while maintaining quality standards.Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align product launches with the company’s promotional strategies.Assist in the preparation of product presentations and marketing materials for internal and external stakeholders.Drive innovation within product lines to differentiate the brand and meet consumer demand.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Production or a related field.5+ years of experience in product development within the fashion industry, with a focus on apparel.Strong understanding of the fashion design and production process, from concept to final product.Experience with CAD software, design tools, and product lifecycle management software.Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and manufacturing processes.Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and prioritize tasks.Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced environments.This role is essential for ensuring the seamless transition of products from concept to final market delivery while maintaining a balance of creativity, quality, and cost efficiency in line with brand goals.Salary Disclosure:Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. While the posted salary range is $85,000 – $125,000, we recognize the value of exceptional talent and are open to negotiation for the right candidate.
