Wright Implement is searching for a precision ag consultant to provide services, expertise, and training for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag strategy and other aligned technology and applications. Ensures ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming and works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services.ResponsibilitiesMonitor incoming calls to the Wright Precision support line and quickly and accurately resolve data, digital and embedded solution questions and errors.Develop and implement the connected fleet process for all internal and customer machines.Develop and implement internal and customer training on all precision ag data and analyticsProvides analytics and management of Operations/Property Center and digital apps data for dealer and customer efficiency.Abide by company data privacy policies and implement throughout the organization.Manage terminal transfers on new and used equipment.Efficiently and accurately manage billing for precision ag services, packages, and subscriptions.Assists in development and execution of the plan to ensure ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming across all departments at the dealership.Ensures understanding of John Deere Precision Ag solutions in sales, service, parts, and all other departmentsDevelops and delivers employee and customer training for John Deere Precision Ag data solutions and advanced precision farming products that produces that data.Provides recommendations of stocking/inventory requirements for solutions enablementProvides solutions-based business consulting services to customers (i.e. advising customers on optimizing performance, reducing costs, operation efficiencies, etc.)Provides support the dealership efforts with third-party providers (Certified Crop Adviser, Ag Service Provider, etc.) and related John Deere businesses.Experience, Education, Skills, And Knowledge1+ years experience in an agriculture-related roleDealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience preferred Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systemsAbility to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needsAbility to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functionsSolid organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customersCertified Crop Advisor certification or equivalent preferredAssociate degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience requiredBachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization preferred
