Apply today!We are a well-established distributor of HVAC/R equipment, components, and related supplies serving the Mid-Atlantic region. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Counter Sales Associate to join our Arlington and Hyattsville branch sales teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with contractors and customer service personnel to drive sales, provide excellent service, and help meet branch goals. Responsibilities:Accurately process customer transactions, including providing pricing, quotes, order processing, and managing returnsGenerate new and repeat sales by educating customers about product offeringsRecommend products proactively to meet customer needs, improving satisfaction and profitabilitySupport branch appearance, including stocking shelves and merchandisingDeliver excellent customer service at the counter with a positive and professional attitudeAssist customers with their HVAC parts and equipment needs in person and via phoneBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsPull orders from warehouse shelves, working knowledge of warehouse and inventory settingsCollaborate within a team environment supporting multiple product linesUtilize basic computer skills to reference parts and process transactionsDemonstrate mathematical aptitude related to sales and inventoryParticipate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and skillsPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Strong oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailPositive attitude with eagerness to learn and growBasic computer skills with willingness to learn new systemsPrevious Counter Sales or Outside Sales experience preferredKnowledge of HVAC systems and success selling in this industry is strongly preferredClean criminal backgroundAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBenefits:Competitive benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insuranceDisability insurance, profit sharing, vacation, and sick leaveApply today!
