IT Generalist (White-Glove Support)Location: Westwood / Santa Monica, CA (Onsite M–F)Compensation: $130,000 base + 10% bonusAbout the CompanyWe are a private investment firm and family office supporting a dynamic and growing Los Angeles presence. With an established Midwest office of 50+ employees, our LA office is expanding and now requires its first dedicated onsite IT professional.The OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to be the first IT hire in Los Angeles, owning the full scope of onsite technology support while partnering closely with a centralized IT team. You will play a critical role in establishing IT infrastructure, delivering exceptional “white-glove” service to executives, and supporting future office expansion initiatives.This role blends hands-on technical expertise with high-touch client service, including occasional support at private residences for senior principals and their families.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary onsite IT lead for the LA office (12 employees and growing)Deliver white-glove technical support to executives, principals, and staff across devices, applications, and systemsProvide occasional in-home IT support for principals and their households (non-routine but high-priority)Troubleshoot and resolve issues across:Networking (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity)Systems (Windows, macOS, mobile devices)Hardware/software supportCloud services and collaboration toolsPartner with the centralized IT team to execute and support firm-wide initiatives and projectsHelp plan and implement IT infrastructure for the LA office expansion (targeted 2026)Maintain strong security practices and ensure systems are up-to-date and compliantProactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and user experienceStay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practicesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in IT support or IT generalist rolesStrong hands-on experience across:Networking (Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN)End-user support (Mac, Windows, iOS)SaaS and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.)Basic security best practicesRobert Half will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
