We are a fast paced shop that has plenty of work and we stay busy.Responsibilities:Work with service technicians and advisors to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and serviceMaintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroomInventory, maintain accurate records of received goodsMaintain parts in appropriate storage areasRead and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific partsPull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stockMake sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderProvide high level service to both internal and external customersAnswer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customersConverse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts statusNotify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attentionLocate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessaryBe able to work out of several digital platforms to perform the parts function. Examples include: Electronic Parts Catalog, GM Global Connect, Dealer Management System, email, etc.Requirements:Strong understanding of automotive parts systems and repairs.Ability to safely lift, pack, and shelve parts at times that can be approximately 50lbs.Valid driver's license and clean driving recordPrompt and courteous demeanorStrong communication skillsPositive and hardworking personalityEagerness to improveStrong interpersonal and time management skillsEager to improve in a dynamic work environmentAbility to read/interpret safety and maintenance documentsAttention to detail and punctuality are a must.Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
