Senior Specialty Representative – Amgen Territory includes Morristown, Princeton, Bridgewater, Summit, and Randolph, NJ. This role is On‑Site at the specified location. No relocation assistance is offered. Responsibilities Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products and effectively communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization. Act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following‑up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in‑person and virtual engagement. Develop relationships with and manage accounts, customizing interactions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts. Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager. Partner with colleagues to share best practices and seek continuous learning. Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and focusing on patient service. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field that is not sales‑related. Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field that is not sales‑related. High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field that is not sales‑related. Preferred Qualifications More than 3 years of sales, marketing, and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, medical device or medical supply industries. Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases and knowledge of the diseases and treatments involved. Advanced influencing and relationship‑building skills focused on sales outcomes. Local market knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration. Salary & Compensation The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $115,949 – $156,872. Actual salary will vary based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
