SEASONAL GRAIN LABORER

The Seasonal Grain Laborer position is labor intensive which will require bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, shoveling, climbing, working at heights and other various laborious activities. Must be able to work in different elements such as heat, rain and humidity. Main Responsibilities: Assist with cleaning of grain bins and silos Learn the proper operation of all equipment Properly empty and load trucks Maintain and clean work area on a daily basis All other duties as assigned THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION. HOURS ARE BASED ON WEATHER CONDITIONS. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE TO WORK EVERY DAY OR 40 HOURS WEEKLY. Preferred Qualifications Must be safety minded Must be able to meet and work with strict deadlines Must possess a strong attention to detail Must have good communication skills Initiative to work independently and also in a team environment Adaptable, self-starter, dependable Must be able to work days or nights and up to 13 hour shifts
