Openstack Developer with Java EE , NMS , SDN

Overview In this role, you will contribute to telecom networking and cloud-native platforms, focusing on Openstack-based environments and NFV. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to implement and maintain Openstack, ODL integrations, and service function chaining scenarios. You’ll apply scripting and RESTful services to enable flexible network services and ensure smooth operation in a global delivery setting. This is an opportunity to shape networking solutions for a telecom service provider context and expand your expertise in NFV, SDN, and cloud technologies. ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain Openstack, CMP platforms, and Open Daylight (ODL) integrationsDevelop and test Service Function Chaining (SFC) with various mechanisms (NSH, VLAN, etc.)Configure and work with virtual network functions (VNFs) and vendor-specific implementationsCollaborate with global delivery teams in a cross-functional environmentLeverage RESTful web services, SOA, and data virtualization in network servicesWork with Java EE, JBoss, and build tools (ANT, MAVEN) to deliver software solutionsParticipate in scripting (Python) and cloud computing concepts to support NFV and Openstack environmentsEngage with Red Hat products, Camel, Fuse, and enterprise design patterns in developmentUnderstand and apply OPNFV concepts and OpenStack networking (Neutron) experiencesExperience with commercial NFV products is a plusCommunicate effectively in a diverse stakeholder environmentTravel may be required depending on job requirements Key requirementsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; 7+ years of IT experienceAt least 6 months experience with Openstack, CMP platforms, OpenDaylightExperience with Openstack networking (neutron) via GRE and VXLANExposure to ODL API for flow, SFC, and SFC mechanisms like NSH and VLANExperience with VNF and RESTful web services; Java EE and JBoss developmentExperience with build tools (ANT, MAVEN)Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, JSON, JSF, JQuery would be an advantageAbility to work in a global delivery environment and as part of a teamTelecom service provider domain experience preferredWillingness to travel as requiredU.S. work authorization required or eligible to work in the U.S.analytical thinkingproblem solvingteam collaborationOpenstackODL (OpenDaylight)Service Function Chaining (SFC)
