RF Support Engineer

Seeking an RF Support Engineer for a permanent position with a growing small local business that has a long history as a worldwide leader in its niche industry. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the current product catalog, documenting existing products, providing sales and customer technical support, and assisting with the development of new designs. Salary: $72,500/yr to $93,600/yr Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm (No Travel) Type: Direct Hire Opportunity! Key Responsibilities Advise customers on custom enclosure configuration, delivering support and recommendations via phone and email.Maintain and document the company's current catalog of RF and electronic productsTroubleshoot, repair, and perform final testing of RF shielded test enclosuresTest electronic equipment to define standards using documented test proceduresResearch technical issues and work directly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, sales staff, project managers, and estimators to resolve problems and improve productsAssist with the design and development of new productsProvide technical support to customers via phone and email, including explaining RF principles and terminologyManage company test reports and perform basic data analysisSupport light assembly and manufacturing tasks as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Associate degree (AS, AAS, AOS) in electronics or related field or military-trained RF technicianBachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred2–5 years of RF industry experienceUnderstanding of basic RF properties, theory, principles, and electronic componentsExperience using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF generators, and multimetersGeneral electronics knowledge including troubleshooting, soldering, and equipment repairProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a small company environmentAbility to meet deadlines and manage projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision Preferred Skills & Experience Experience using Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs)Working knowledge of Salesforce2–3 years of experience in a production manufacturing environmentNesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
