The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Full Time RegularShift: DAY SHIFTDepartment: Internal Med-Grand AvePosition SummarySummary:Assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required• Must complete in-house orientation program• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Experience And Skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Speaks, reads and writes English• At least 6 months in a private physician or ambulatory care practice setting preferred.• Excellent communication skills.• Bilingual English/Spanish - translation duties may be required.• Computer experience and other related office machinery.• Knowledge of EMR preferred.License/Certifications• Medical Assistant Certificate or Venipuncture and EKG Certifications.• BLS certification preferredWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn• Frequent, prolonged standing, walking, lifting, positions, pushes and/or transfer patients.• Ability to lift 25lbs.• Ability to bend, reach, and retrieve files.• Sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time.• Lifts, positions and/or transfers patients/equipment.• Ability to work in confined areas.
