Roadway and Utility Estimator

We are currently seeking a Roadway & Utility Estimator to join our growing team.Position Overview This role works collaboratively within our estimating team and reports directly to the Chief Estimator. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive bids for roadway and underground utility construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project drawings and specifications to develop detailed roadway and underground utility estimates using HCSSPerform accurate quantity takeoffs for:Earthwork, grading, and stabilizationBase and paving componentsStorm drainage systemsWater mains, force mains, and gravity sewer systemsSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure complete and competitive proposalsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budgetQualificationsExperience in roadway and/or underground utility estimatingFamiliarity with HCSS or similar estimating softwareStrong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and takeoff processesExperience with FDOT projects is highly preferredExperience with takeoff and design software is a plusWhat We’re Looking For We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience.
