IT Equipment Logistics Technician

Position OverviewWe are seeking an IT Equipment Logistics Technician to support warehouse operations and the full lifecycle management of enterprise IT assets. This role is responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, shipping, and maintaining technology equipment while ensuring accurate inventory records and compliance with asset management processes.The ideal candidate combines strong warehouse and logistics experience with attention to detail and an interest in technology and IT operations.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & LogisticsReceive, inspect, and validate incoming shipments of IT equipment.Store and organize inventory according to warehouse and asset management standards.Pack, label, and ship equipment to end users, project sites, and remote locations.Create and manage shipping labels and related documentation.Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams and logistics providers.Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.Inventory & Asset ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits.Track equipment throughout its lifecycle, including receiving, deployment, transfer, recovery, and retirement.Update asset information within inventory and asset management systems.Ensure all equipment is properly tagged, documented, and accounted for.Support compliance with asset management policies and procedures.Operational SupportAssemble and prepare equipment kits for new hires and project deployments.Process returned equipment from former employees.Prepare equipment for deployment through staging, labeling, packaging, and fulfillment activities.Partner with Service Desk, Field Support, and Asset Management teams to fulfill requests efficiently.Assist with inventory reporting and audit activities.Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in:Warehouse OperationsLogisticsInventory ManagementAsset TrackingDistribution or Fulfillment OperationsExperience working with inventory systems or asset tracking tools.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.High School Diploma or GED required.Preferred Qualifications Experience handling IT equipment such as:LaptopsDesktopsMonitorsMobile devicesPeripherals and accessoriesFamiliarity with:IT Asset Management (ITAM)ServiceNowAsset lifecycle managementShipping and courier platformsExperience supporting enterprise or managed services environments.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, pack, and handle IT equipment safely.Ability to work onsite in a warehouse environment.Ability to stand, walk, and perform inventory-related activities throughout the workday.What We're Looking ForHigh level of accountability and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsReliable and proactive work ethicTeam-oriented mindsetAbility to coordinate effectively across multiple departmentsCommitment to maintaining accurate inventory and operational processes
