Key Responsibilities: Support a team comprising 1 MD and 1 APP for non-invasive cardiology proceduresProvide interventional and electrophysiology (EP) services as neededConduct and interpret diagnostic studies including Echos, holters, stress testing (including Nucs), EKGs, and cardioversionsManage an average patient census of 25-35 daily, primarily adults aged 18 and aboveParticipate in special procedures such as stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversionsMaintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR systemProvide coverage for 1-2 weeks per month, including weekends and nights as neededRequired Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiology studies and diagnostic testsStrong clinical knowledge of non-invasive cardiology techniquesExcellent communication and patient management skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamValid PA license, DEA certification, and ACLS/BLS certificationCommitment to high-quality patient care and safetyWillingness to support flexible scheduling including weekends and evening shiftsNice to Have Skills: Board certification in Cardiology (Preferred)Experience with stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversionsAdditional certifications such as CTA readingPrior experience with EPIC EMR systemPreferred Education and Experience: Physician Assistants (PA) with Active licensure and relevant cardiology experiencePrior hospital-based cardiology practice preferredCredentialing completed within 90 days; temporary credentials considered with a clean fileOther Requirements: Must hold an active PA license and DEA registrationAbility to support up to 2 weeks of coverage per month, including weekends and nightsWillingness to travel or support additional shifts if requiredThis position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $439.73, with weekly pay via direct deposit, along with comprehensive medical benefits, referral bonuses, licensure and certification reimbursements, paid sick time, and various other benefits.
