We are the Factory-authorized service and warranty provider for Daikin Equipment.This is a unique opportunity to join a growing operation at the ground level and be part of building a strong local service team from the start.OverviewMechanical Concepts LLC is seeking an organized, dependable HVAC Service Dispatcher to coordinate the daily activities of our field service team.This role serves as the link between the office, technicians, customers, and vendors. The right candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping communication clear and accurate.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and respond to customer inquiries and service requestsDispatch and schedule field technicians based on priority and availabilityCoordinate preventive maintenance, service calls, repairs, and equipment startupsCommunicate job status and requirements with customers, technicians, and vendorsOrder materials for jobs as neededMonitor service issues and ensure timely resolutionManage maintenance schedules and provide updates as neededFollow up on after-hours calls as neededReview and verify technician hours and weekly time reportsInvoice completed service calls and jobsMaintain accurate dispatch board, job notes, and open call statusProvide coverage when technicians are absentQualificationsHVAC dispatching experience preferred; strong office experience consideredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredStrong communication and customer service skillsStrong organization, time management, and prioritization abilityAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and problem-solving abilityProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceFull-time, non-exempt positionPaid bi-weekly, with overtime as neededPaid vacationHealth insurance (50% company-paid for employee or family; eligibility after 90 days)Long-term disability coverage (60% of salary; 100% company-paid after 90 days)$20,000 company-paid life insurance (after 90 days)401(k) after one year with up to 4% company matchProfit-sharing contribution (historically funded)8 paid holidaysWork EnvironmentFull-time, in-office position in the Metairie / New Orleans area.
