We are committed to building long-term partnerships by delivering top talent and customized staffing solutions that support our clients’ evolving business and project needs.Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer for one of our clients supporting manufacturing operations and capital improvement projects within a dairy production facility. This is a full-time onsite role based in Auburn, NY, for an initial 6+ month contract with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dairy or food manufacturing environments, process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital project execution. This individual will work closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to improve manufacturing performance, support facility upgrades, and ensure successful project delivery.Description:Lead process optimization initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and productivity.Evaluate existing production processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements.Develop, review, and modify P&IDs and process design documentation.Support and lead capital projects from planning through execution.Coordinate with operations, engineering, maintenance, contractors, and project teams to ensure project success.Provide field and construction support during project execution activities.Manage project-related documentation, schedules, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor coordination.Ensure compliance with company standards, food manufacturing requirements, and industry best practices.Drive continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations.Skills and Background:15+ years of Process Engineering experience.Strong experience within dairy manufacturing; food and beverage processing experience will also be considered.Proven track record of process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.Strong knowledge of P&IDs, process design, and manufacturing systems.Experience supporting and managing capital projects within manufacturing environments.Construction and field execution experience.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Experience working within food and beverage manufacturing facilities preferred.Soft Skills:Strong leadership and collaboration skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Highly organized with strong project coordination capabilities.Self-motivated and capable of working independently.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.Degree:Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline preferred.📩 Interested?
