Database Developer Full Time

· SQL: 5 years (Required) · ETL: 5 years (Required) · Power BI 5 years(Preferred) · 5+ years’ experience developing advanced dashboards using Power BI · Expert in data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models · Excellent knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Charting Widgets and Connectors to various data sources · Experience building Power BI reports leveraging DAX functions · Knowledge of M Language and Power Query · Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. · Responsible for design methodology and project documentation. · Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards. · Experience combining heterogeneous data in PowerBI · Experience building SSRS Reports · Having SQL Server or Postgres experience is a must · Knowledge of writing SQL statements using MS SQL Server ETL, SSAS and SSIS · Azure experience is nice to have · Advanced SQL development with strong T-SQL background for development of Cubes, stored procedures · Strong Query/data Analytics and performance tuning experience · Experience consuming Excel worksheet data in PowerBI. · Experience analyzing and understanding complex business processes. · Experience interacting with business users to understand and elucidate requirements.
