Job Description Commercial Lines Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring exceptional client support and providing the highest level of service to commercial insurance customers. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing policies, and offering tailored solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and a strategic problem-solver with a customer-first mindset. ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for commercial clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships.Manage day-to-day service needs for a portfolio of commercial accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing.Monitor liability coverage, renewal schedules, and compliance to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.Provide expert guidance to clients on insurance policies and programs, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to meet their unique requirements.Partner with insurance carriers to obtain favorable terms, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely processing of applications and forms.Collaborate with internal teams to drive seamless communication, create efficiencies in account management, and resolve service issues.Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all policy and client information in compliance with company and legal standards.Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and market conditions to provide insightful advice to clients.Actively contribute to team projects and initiatives to improve service delivery and client satisfaction. Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (or equivalent years of relevant experience).Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in Commercial Lines or the insurance industry.Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport with clients and team members.High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using insurance management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Insurance licensure (e.g., Property & Casualty License) is required or must be obtained within an agreed-upon timeframe post-hiring.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications3+ years of experience handling commercial lines or insurance accounts in a similar role.Professional designations such as Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) are a plus.
