As a national leader in mental health services, we empower our clinicians, support our teams, and prioritize care that helps people truly thrive.The Front Office Team Lead serves as a trusted peer leader and operational support resource for Front Office Coordinators and Clinicians across one or more offices. This role performs the role of Front Office Coordinator and also supports peers with real-time guidance, reinforces standard processes, and helps ensure consistency, efficiency, and a positive patient and team experience at the front office level. The Lead, FOC supports day-to-day operations by monitoring workflow execution, assisting with onboarding and informal training, and serving as a point of escalation for front office questions and issues. This role partners closely with Operations leadership to identify process gaps, support new initiatives, and promote best practices, while remaining actively engaged in front office workflows. Perform the full range of FOC duties, including front desk operations, patient check-in, scheduling, and phone coverage, while serving as a peer lead. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving university students, faculty, and staff in an outpatient setting and supporting our College Health Program .This role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) onsite in our Santa Cruz office.ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll DoPerform all responsibilities outlined in Front Office Coordinator job descriptionServe as a real-time point of contact for Front Office Coordinators in one or multiple offices, providing guidance, answering questions, and supporting day-to-day operations. Monitor completion of daily, weekly, and monthly front office checklists and designated operating reports to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks. Escalate operational concerns or workflow issues to the Operations Supervisor or other appropriate leaders. Support the rollout of new initiatives by providing feedback during planning, implementation, and post-launch phases; help identify opportunities for improvement and share insights from the front office perspective. Champion consistency and excellence in front office operations by modeling best practices and reinforcing standard operating procedures. Assist with onboarding and informal training of new Front Office Coordinators, offering peer support and guidance to promote confidence and competence. Collaborate with leadership to identify gaps in front office processes and contribute to solutions that enhance efficiency and service quality. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging open communication and mutual support among Front Office Coordinators. Maintains compliance with company policies and regulatory standards and models professional conduct within the office. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat You’ll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with EMR/EHR or practice management systems required. Prior team lead or supervisory experience with strong leadership skills. 2+ years of front office, administrative, customer service, or clerical experience; healthcare preferred.
