At Chrysalis, a therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls, we believe healing happens in everyday moments - including around the table.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve nutritious, balanced, and appealing meals for students and staffFollow established menus while contributing creative, healthy ideasAccommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special needsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environmentEnsure compliance with food safety and sanitation standardsSupport a positive, team-oriented environment in collaboration with clinical and residential staffOccasionally involve students in appropriate kitchen or meal prep activities to build life skillsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must be at least 21 years of age or olderMust hold a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalencyMontana Food Handler’s certificationCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationMust possess a valid State of Montana driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to drive for work-related purposesAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningExperience preparing healthy meals and accommodating dietary restrictionsStrong communication, time management, and organizational skillsPositive attitude, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust be physically capable of performing essential job functions, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
