Account Executive OpportunityBuilt on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team in Plano, Texas!The Account Executive builds, strengthens, and expands client relationships while serving as a strategic partner across all levels of the organization. This role leads internal resources to address client needs, including risk identification and the resolution of underwriting, policy, accounting, and claims issues, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and responsive service.How You Will Contribute:Accurately review and monitor various documents such as certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, binders, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, insurance specifications, proposals, contract reviews, etc. May be involved in preparation of such documents for complex risks. Ensures documents reflect policy coverages as quoted, proposed and bound.Use discretionary judgement to negotiate commission/fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreementLead the renewal process by obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriersCollaborate with Producers and Marketing to achieve agreed upon goals for new and renewal business marketingAssist Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resourceManage complete renewal process on Select business tied to Middle Market accounts as directed by ProducersAct as liaison between producer and client by obtaining exposure and operation updates, receiving renewal applications and ordering appropriate documents needed for renewalHandle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arenaSubmit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s)Prepare Insurance Coverage Review documentsBind coverage with the carrier(s) in accordance with the client's instructionsResponsible for the day-to-day account management of client accountsLicenses and Certifications:Active Texas General Agent's LicenseInsurance designation, strongly preferredSkills & Experience to Be Successful:Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial lines insurance coverage5+ years generalist commercial insurance experienceProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAMS360 experience / ImageRightTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being:We go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:Health Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Not reflective of all benefits.
