Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer you translate complex engineering drawings into precise work instructions and drive process improvements with advanced technologies. You will apply RCCA and Lean Six Sigma methods to reduce cost, boost quality, and speed delivery on the shop floor. This role blends technical instruction, automation, and tool design to optimize manufacturing outcomes. You will work cross-functionally to implement impactful improvements and support DoD-relevant projects. ResponsibilitiesCreate comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts listsImplement automation and advanced technologies to boost build efficiencyLead RCCA and Lean Six Sigma improvement projectsDevelop process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery Key requirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline3+ years writing technical work instructions3+ years GD&T knowledge3+ years SAP experience3+ years Lean Six Sigma manufacturing knowledge3+ years experience with electromechanical and/or optical assemblies3+ years CREO/ProE experience with tool design3+ years experience in a manufacturing floor environment3+ years RCCA investigations on complex failure modes3+ years process improvement using automation insertionsU.S. Citizen capable of obtaining DoD Security ClearanceAbility to work D-shift (4x10 Thursday-Sundays)GD&TSAPLean Six SigmaRCCACREO/ProEautomation
