Director of Strategic Partnerships

National Taxpayers Union (NTU) & National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTUF) are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to help lead fundraising and external engagement efforts in support of our mission to advocate for lower taxes, limited government, and free markets. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will report to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.The expected salary range is $90,000 to $125,000. This is a hybrid position based out of our Washington, DC office, with at least three days per week spent in office. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will attend meetings and events in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and will be expected to travel out of state for donor meetings (approximately six to twelve times per year).Responsibilities Include:Manage and grow a portfolio of primarily business and foundation donorsSecure and renew five- and six-figure gifts to support NTU/NTUF prioritiesProspect for new business and foundation donors to support NTU/NTUF prioritiesDraft proposals, grant reports, and donor communicationsTranslate policy work into compelling materials for external audiencesCoordinate with policy staff to align funding with programmatic workPlan and execute donor events, briefings, and engagement opportunitiesMaintain donor pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce and HubspotRepresent NTU/NTUF in meetings with external stakeholdersIdeal Qualifications Include:5+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or external affairsFamiliarity with, and interest in, our mission to advocate for lower taxes, limited government, and free markets or a willingness to learnStrong writing and communication skillsAbility to convey complex policy issues clearlyHighly organized with strong interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesNTU is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, nonpartisan citizen group whose supporters work every day for lower taxes and smaller government at all levels.
