Job Description ERISA Employee Benefits Consultant (Paralegal) Location: Downtown Tampa (On site)Parking: Yes, 80% paid by the companyPay Rate: $25 – $40 per hour (Based on experience)Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities:Assist with the administration and compliance of retirement plans (401(k), defined benefit, etc.)Support plan document preparation, review, and maintenance, including drafting summary plan descriptions and plan amendmentsCoordinate with third-party plan administrators, recordkeepers, brokers, and other service providersAssist with health and welfare benefit plan compliance and documentationConduct legal research and draft correspondence as neededMaintain organized records and files, ensuring attention to detail in all documentationCollaborate with internal teams and clients to provide accurate, timely support Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' experience working with retirement plans as a paralegal or with a third-party plan administrator/recordkeeperFamiliarity with compliance matters related to retirement plans and/or health and welfare benefitsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical thinking and exceptional attention to detailExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesProfessional demeanor and client-focused attitudeExperience advising or consulting with clients on retirement plan matters is strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications:Experience with health and welfare benefits and/or executive compensation plansExperience with ASCi plan document generation systemsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookQKA and QKC designations are highly desirable Technical Skills:Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to learn and navigate plan administration softwareWhy Join Us:Competitive hourly rate based on experienceSupportive team environment.Convenient parking with majority of the cost coveredCompany DescriptionWe are a staffing company dedicated to connecting you with long-term career opportunities.Company DescriptionWe are a staffing company dedicated to connecting you with long-term career opportunities.
