Bilingual (English and Spanish) applicants are preferred, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.In this role, the Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Working closely with the care team and family members, this individual provides hands-on assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, facilitating community engagement, and assisting with health and safety needs in alignment with each individual's care plan. In addition, the DSP helps maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment that enables individuals to thrive both at home and in the community.Current ScheduleCurrently, we have the following shifts available:Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 4:00pm - 6:00pmMonday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00am - 2:00pm Responsibilities Requires travel to the individual's home, health-related appointments, and community activities; mileage reimbursement availableAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobilityPrepare meals and snacks, menu planningLight housekeeping activitiesMay assist with medicationCommunity resource awareness and assistanceAssist with errands, shopping, and health-related appointmentsQualificationsMust have a reliable, insured vehiclePrevious experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferredFirst aid and CPR-certifiedKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skillsAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, respectful, ethical
