We are hiring immediately for full time Field or Shop Technician II - Power – a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.You'll be based out of our Midland, TX service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle OR in the Shop with no company vehicleYou'll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travelPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressorsTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairsYou will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sitesWe're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:High School diploma/GED4-6 years of experience working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and power generators repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsBased on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical cardAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.Valid driver's license
