Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the developmental needs of children across various age groups. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum implementation to ensure students achieve their academic and social-emotional goals. Experience with early childhood education, special education, and literacy development is highly valued. The Teacher will play a vital role in nurturing young minds and promoting a love of learning in a safe and supportive setting.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to diverse student needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, creativity, and social skills.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and other evaluation methods; adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Support children’s emotional well-being and social development through behavior management techniques and child welfare practices.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support individual student needs, including early intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in compliance with school policies.
Incorporate inclusive practices for children with special needs or those requiring additional support such as early intervention programs.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, curriculum updates, and new educational methodologies.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education.
Experience with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods to support student achievement.
Experience working with diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, or students requiring special accommodations is desirable.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, staff, and community partners. Pay: From $10.00 per hour
