Quoting Analyst - Plano, TX

Job Summary:The Quoting Analyst is responsible for transferring the correct information from the suppliers into our quoting software to accurately receive quotes on material. They will communicate any discrepancies or questions to resolve content questions from suppliers.Essential Functions:Work closely with internal teams on product-related issues, customer requirements, item number discrepancies, and compliances to fulfill the quote accordingly.Send and receive supplier pricing, including sending prints, answering supplier questions, entering pricing in Calcuquote, fielding responses, monitoring Calcuquote, and making selections where pricing is received.Exhibit strong communication skills.Demonstrate attention to detail.Maintain patience and a positive attitude.Show willingness to learn and take initiative.Exercise good judgment.Be goal-oriented.Education & Qualification:HS Diploma or GEDTwo (2) years related work history in quotations or document and data roleWork Experience - Technical Knowledge:Required PC Skills including MS Word, Excel, OutlookAnalytical skills and math competencyStrong English communication skills both written and verbalAble to collaborate and work successfully in a team environment.Superior attention to detailAbility to perform with high efficiencyAbility to prioritize tasks and execute tasks independently.Working knowledge of industry standard ERP system, a PLUSPreferred Skills:Working Knowledge of industry standard ERP systemExperience with electronic components and BOMsExperience in Contract or OEM Electronics ManufacturingPhysical Demand:Must be able to sit at workstation for long periodsMust be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
