On-site in Piedmont, CA | Bethesda, MD | Chicago, IL$200,000 annual salary, paid weekly. Full health, dental, and vision from day oneRelocation assistance providedThe kindest thing you can do for a student who reached 99% is to tell them it's not 100%. If that idea unsettles you, this role isn't for you. If it resonates, read on.Alpha students don't passively absorb lectures. They accelerate through adaptive applications, absorb material at double the speed of conventional classrooms, and develop practical life competencies as they go. Your mission is to ensure three commitments are met for every child in your cohort: they're excited about school, they progress at 2x speed, and they acquire capabilities no traditional textbook offers. You'll also develop the Guides who uphold these commitments throughout your campus.Data anchors your mornings. You review analytics to identify students progressing smoothly and those requiring additional support. By mid-morning you're facilitating a live session, guiding K-8 learners through public speaking or concentration drills using Alpha's framework. Post-lunch, you observe a Guide in action, then debrief with three concrete steps to refine their execution. On certain days you're the motivational catalyst in a team huddle, converting leaderboard rankings into momentum. You maintain direct involvement with your own student group while cultivating Guides capable of meeting your benchmark—and as they rise, your influence scales from one cohort to a full campus. You'll witness reserved children present with poise to adults. You'll see learners who once "despised school" request extra time. And you'll recognize that the standard you maintained is precisely what enabled their growth—because upholding the bar demonstrates your belief in their ability to surpass it.If you've broken records, transformed underperformers into achievers, and you're prepared to do it for children: submit your application now. What You Will Be DoingFacilitating one-hour live sessions with K-8 learners on life competencies including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange, using Alpha's established playbookDeveloping Guides through direct observation, precise feedback, and active coaching so they execute sessions with identical energy and accuracyConducting daily motivational sessions that propel 100% of learners toward their weekly targets using developmentally appropriate incentives such as campus currency and leaderboardsAnalyzing Coachbot data and learner profiles to pinpoint students requiring support, then providing that support directlyDirectly mentoring your own compact student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all GuidesWhat You Won’t Be DoingCreating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Learners advance through adaptive technology; your focus is elevating the people who support them.Delivering traditional lectures. You're 80% performer, 20% content expert; if you prefer standing at a whiteboard, look elsewhere.Accepting "close enough" from a student. 100% mastery is non-negotiable, and compromising that standard isn't compassion.Working from an office handling administrative tasks.
