Are you ready to be a part of our journey?Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plans to fit your needso Single person pays 0% up to 2% of gross incomeo Entire family pays 0% up to 4% of gross income 401(k) - 100% match up to 5% of employee contributionsCompany-paid life insuranceEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule and assign tasks for dock planning and setupObserve loading and unloading of trucks for proper handling and distribution of freight while ensuring timely deliverySupervise operations, procedures, and freight movementEnforce all safety measures regarding freight balance for safe truck operationEnsure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulationsTrain new dock employees and provide feedback, coaching, and discipline as needed in partnership with the Operations ManagerCreate and maintain a teamwork-oriented environmentCoordinate drivers and assign trucks and delivery routesMaintain equipment and facilities for effective, clean, and safe operationsPerform other duties as assignedSkills, Experience, and Educational Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in LTL freight, logistics, or transportation2 years of freight handling experience; LTL environment preferredProven leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skillsGood computer skills (AS/400 and Microsoft Office preferred)Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skillsKnowledge of hazardous materials preferredStrong work ethic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple prioritiesHigh school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferredPrevious warehouse or related experience strongly preferredForklift experience requiredBasic English proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal) requiredhttp://www.oakharborbenefits.com/full-time-regular-employees.htmlOHFL is an equal opportunity employer.
