Business Unit Manager | Sky Limit Systems | Full-Time OnsiteAbout the Role Lead and coordinate all major business activities related to custom engineered products through integrated multifunctional teams. Drive new business and product development, prepare Business Plans including strategy for new and existing products, pricing structure, sales forecasts, advertising, and promotion. Meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets while supporting field sales through customer interface at key accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Multifunctional Teams in a dynamic business environment and build consensus for business prioritiesPrepare New Business Proposals and serve as the direct program interface with customers during developmentReview proposals and contracts to ensure terms and conditions conform to company policy and strategic business planPrepare Annual and Five Year Business Plans including product strategy, pricing, sales forecasts, and promotionSupport field sales through direct customer interface at key accountsMeet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets for the business unitPresent Business Unit results at quarterly corporate meetingsFoster teamwork, bias for action, and a can-do attitudeQualificationsB.S. degree (technical discipline a plus)Minimum 5 years of proven leadership of multifunctional teamsSales exposure required; Aerospace and Custom Manufacturing background a plusProven ability to negotiate and lead cross-functional initiativesStrong project management and presentation skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsBasic understanding of contracts and financial statementsAbility to travelMust be eligible for any required U.S. Government export control authorizationsProficient in spoken and written EnglishWe have some exciting leadership roles, please email me directly at Chris@skylimit-systems.com!
