A hospital network in Rockland County is currently seeking a General Surgeon to join a surgical practice at the hospital. About the opportunity: Hours: Monday through Friday 8-4:30 Specialty: General Surgery On-call schedule: Shared with 4 physicians Responsibilities: General Surgeon will: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop comprehensive surgical plans, and provide follow-up care to monitor recovery and manage complications Execute a variety of surgical interventions, including but not limited to abdominal, gastrointestinal, and emergency surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists, to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication throughout the surgical process. Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Successful completion of a Surgery Residency Board eligible or Board certified Licensed to practice in the state of New York 2025 graduates or advanced surgical fellows welcome to apply
