Maintenance Operations Lead 1st or 2nd Shift (Electromechanical Systems)6 or more years of relevant work experience in maintenance and 1 or more years of relevant leadership experience are requirements to be considered. Associate's degree (A.S.) in industrial technology or a related field / equivalent experience is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Pay is up to $120,000/yr for a highly qualified candidate. You will join a highly collaborative team that directly supports manufacturing, allowing you to own projects from cradle-to-grave and see your custom equipment built and implemented.The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:Supervise and lead a team of Automation & Control Technicians across all shifts, ensuring high workmanship standards and thorough work order documentationLook into recurring issues on complex equipment and use practical troubleshooting methods to understand what's causing them and how to prevent themCreate clear, consistent training materials for technicians, mechanics, and operators across all locations, and set up a system where experienced team members can teach others new tools and technologies.Handle advanced electronic repair and maintenance work, assign tasks to the team, and decide which projects need attention first.Coordinate improvements across the company by helping put maintenance routines in place and overseeing several automation-related projects. Travel (about 1025%) may be needed to help with new equipment installs and to make sure processes are aligned between sites.The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:6 or more years of relevant work experience in maintenance is required1 or more years of relevant leadership experience is required (supervising technical professionals is a plus)Associate's degree in industrial technology or a related field of study (or equivalent experience) is requiredAdvanced knowledge of industrial controls, components, and various automated systems is necessaryStrong knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety and electrical hazard mitigation techniquesPossess strong project management and exceptional communication skillsPossess a solid work historyBeing a US citizen or green card holderHaving a residence within a 45-minute drive
