Immediate work to begin for Welders with ARMOR WELDING experience. We are 15 welders short on a mission critical project in LePeer, Michigan in support of our key defense client. Failure is not an option. Your resume should reflect 3-5 years' experience at a minimum.Please contact us for full details, rates, schedule - considerable amount of OT available.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:I.G / T.I.G. welding as required.Tack welding as requiredRead & interpret blueprints.Set-up metal fabricating equipment as required.Must pass test plate requirements for any process requiredPerforms metal fabricating duties; {ensuring traceable & correct material is being used, selecting appropriate welding equipment & wire}.Monitors equipment and performs routine maintenance as needed.Weld only to specifications that you have been qualified / certified to weld.Maintain clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety.Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with regulations.Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job Requirements Oral & Written Communication SkillsReading SkillsWeld symbolsMachine Set-up and Maintenance,Limited welding experience and need to pass test plate requirements.
