Benefit CosmeticsYou’re sooo Benefit!The production planner is responsible for planning and determining the timing and amounts of purchase orders to produce new product launches. This role oversees the production of a product from early PO placement through manufacturing and finally through product distribution to ensure on time new product launch success.Job ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do:Production Scheduling: Determine requirements and timelines for Purchase Order (PO) placement to schedule production and component deliveries, directly impacting budget and product launch success. Supplier Relationship Management: Independently manage end-to-end relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for their products, and plan product production. Be a main point of contact for new vendor relationships and ensuring clear understanding and alignment on our operational processes. Negotiation & Procurement: Negotiate with vendors regarding delivery timing and purchase order size to meet deadlines, inventory requirements, and budgetary considerations, while ensuring best pricing. Risk Management & Expediting: Proactively identify potential late shipments and determine when to expedite deliveries by running in-depth analysis. Coordinate with logistics on urgent shipments and negotiate with vendors as needed. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate and plan with Procurement, and New Product Planning teams to ensure on-time development and deliveries. Inventory Accuracy: Partner with the inventory team to ensure accuracy of system and physical inventory and identify any discrepancies. Performance Analysis: Conduct production post-mortems to analyze areas for improvement and plan future productions. Partner with process engineering to finalize scrap rates from mass production. ProfileQualifications: Minimum 1-2 year experience in Planning, Project Management, or Purchasing/Procurement Possesses a clear understanding of project management and production timelines. Proficient Excel skills. Axapta, SAP and PowerBI experience a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional InformationSchedule:Remote - requires quarterly travel to a Benefit OfficeThe target salary range for this position is $72,000-108,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
